Six Things That Set Us Apart
Each of these is something we have built deliberately into how Tegapio runs — not marketing language, just how we actually work.
Groups Never Exceed 8
Hard cap, always. Not "usually" or "ideally" — the studio does not take a ninth booking until a session has availability. You get genuine attention, not a crowded floor.
Adjusted to You, Weekly
In the coaching and membership programmes, your routine is not fixed. The educator checks in on how the previous week felt and adjusts accordingly. Nothing is copy-pasted from a template.
No Equipment Barrier
Every exercise we teach has a version that works with what you already own — a chair, a bag of rice, a wall. Home guides reflect this so sessions stay accessible between visits.
Qualified, Experienced Educators
Each educator holds a relevant qualification and has worked with adults in non-competitive movement settings for at least three years before joining Tegapio.
Written Home Guides Included
Every participant receives a practical written guide — no video subscriptions, no app required. Something you can print or keep on your phone and actually follow without a coach present.
Transparent, Flat Pricing
The price listed is the price charged. No add-on packages, no mandatory gear purchases, no pressure to upgrade. You know what you are paying for before you commit.
In More Detail
Educator Expertise
Our educators bring a background in adult movement education, not competitive sport coaching. There is a real difference. Sport coaching is about maximising performance. Adult movement education is about building habits that hold up in normal life.
- Diplomas and certificates in physical education or equivalent
- Minimum three years adult-facing experience before joining
- Ongoing internal programme reviews every six months
"We deliberately avoid educators who come mainly from high-intensity sport backgrounds. Our participants need someone who understands the difference between discomfort and something to stop for."
— Ahmad Faris, Lead Educator
What participants say matters most:
- 1 Educator remembers how they felt last week
- 2 Programme is adjusted when something feels off
- 3 They are not rushed or compared to others in the group
- 4 The session ends on time
Participant-Centred Service
We track participant feedback across every programme block and use it to shape the following one. When someone reports that a particular exercise felt uncomfortable or confusing, the guide is updated. The programme is a living document, not a finished product.
If something is not working for you, we would rather hear it during the programme than after it ends.
Honest Value at Every Level
The Strong Basics Class at RM 470 is a single session — no subscription, no follow-up commitment. The Year of Steady Progress at RM 4,500 works out to less than RM 375 per month for a year of regular sessions, reviews, and home guides. We think that compares well.
- No hidden admin or registration charges
- No pressure to move to a higher tier
- Payment schedule available for longer programmes

What Only Tegapio Offers
Distinctive Features
The Everyday Tasks Framework
Our exercises are organised around the physical demands of daily life: carrying loads, getting up from low surfaces, reaching overhead, maintaining an upright posture for long periods. You learn skills that transfer directly to what you already do.
Home Guide Library (Membership)
Year of Steady Progress members have access to a library of home practice plans that grows throughout the year. Older guides are kept available so you can revisit earlier routines if you take a break or want to vary your week.
Pace Review After Every Session
In the coaching programme, each session ends with a brief verbal check-in rather than a follow-up form. The educator notes what felt easy, what felt hard, and adjusts the plan for the following week in real time.
Single Session Entry Point
The Strong Basics Class lets you experience how Tegapio works without committing to a longer programme. Many participants use it to decide whether the coaching block suits them. There is no obligation to continue afterward.
